How do you launch a kitchen cabinet collection when there’s no kitchen to photograph? The cabinets are still in production, the showrooms aren’t set up yet — but the dealers need visuals now, the website needs lifestyle imagery for the new pages, and the brochure deadline isn’t moving. Dealers and buyers alike need to see the kitchen in a real setting — styled, lit, looking like someone’s actual home. And they need the product shots too: each cabinet on its own, the door style, the hardware, the build quality up close. And none of it can wait until the first physical kitchen is installed. For the US launch of a new cabinetry line, Nobilia North America used kitchen cabinets rendering to get all of that done before a single physical kitchen existed.
About the Client
Nobilia North America is the US division of nobilia, Europe’s largest kitchen furniture manufacturer. The parent company, family-owned since 1945 and headquartered in Verl, Germany, produces over 3,800 kitchens daily and sells in more than 90 countries. Nobilia North America operates out of Miami, Florida, selling cabinetry through independent showrooms, directly to developers and builders, and through its own retail locations. Their product range covers kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces — from modern and minimalist to traditional.
For the launch of a new Klassik cabinet collection, the Nobilia North America team needed kitchen CGI ready for the website, print brochures, and dealer communications.
The Challenge
The new collection had to hit the US market with a full set of visuals — but no physical kitchens existed to photograph. The cabinets were still in production, and the only materials available were technical drawings, finish samples, moodboards, and 3D kitchen models.
Nobilia North America needed kitchen cabinet 3D visualization across the board. Lifestyle scenes — full kitchen environments styled for a southern US residential setting, the kind of imagery that helps a potential buyer or dealer feel the product in context. And clean silo renders of individual cabinet units — base, tall, and wall — shown alongside its accessory components so dealers and buyers could see exactly what each model includes.
The lifestyle scenes had to feel like real homes. That meant geo-appropriate window views, appliances that fit the moodboard without specifying exact brands, and enough surrounding space — dining areas, living zones — to make the kitchens feel lived in. The silo renders had their own requirements: accurate dimensions, visible leg details on base and tall units, and consistent camera angles that showed wall cabinets from below, tall units head-on, and base units from slightly above.
All of it was needed on a tight timeline.
What We Did
CGIFurniture produced kitchen cabinets rendering through our 3D product rendering services — silo cabinet visuals and lifestyle kitchen scenes.
Silo Renders
Different models of cabinets — base units, tall units, wall units — each rendered in closed and open versions, with doors and drawers pulled out to show the interior. Some units were also shown alongside its accessory components — side panels, fillers, and plinth strips — detached and placed next to the cabinet body so the buyer or dealer can see exactly what ships with each model. All delivered on a clean white background through our silo 3D rendering workflow. Base and tall units were shown without the white plinth, with black adjustable legs visible — matching the actual product spec.
Lifestyle scenes
A set of full-environment renders showing the new cabinetry installed in realistic kitchen settings. Each scene was built to reflect the kind of residential interior you’d find in the southern United States — warm light, appropriate window views, and a sense of lived-in space. Using our 3D modeling services, the team built kitchen environments from the client’s moodboards and technical drawings, then furnished them with decor, dining areas, and living zones pulled from CGIFurniture’s library of ready-made assets and adapted from previous kitchen projects. Appliances were styled to match the moodboard’s aesthetic without referencing specific brands. The team had creative freedom to adjust scenes — adding windows, shifting camera angles, extending rooms — to make each lifestyle kitchen render look as realistic as possible.
All lifestyle images were delivered at 4K resolution (4000 × 2250 horizontal, with select vertical crops at 2667 × 4000), 300 DPI — ready for web and print. The workflow moved fast: initial compositions were shared for client review within days, with revisions and vertical crops requested as the project progressed.
CGIFurniture has worked with multiple kitchen brands before this project. The team already had the production pipeline, scene assets, and processes suited to this type of work. That made the compressed timeline possible.
