Mattresses, bases & sleep products

3D Rendering for Mattress Brands

A mattress is sold on what is inside it — layers, zones, materials — and none of that survives a photograph of a white rectangle. We render your models as products, as cutaways and as styled bedroom scenes, all from one 3D asset per model.

3D Visualization of Bedroom with Nolah Mattress and Large Windows

Nolah

Nolah sell online, where the mattress has to be understood from the page alone. We modeled the range and produced both the styled bedroom imagery that carries the brand and the technical views that explain construction — layers, zones and materials — from the same asset. New models and sizes are added to the existing scenes rather than re-shot.

How it works

From specification to sleep imagery

You send the construction data. We handle modeling, materials, scenes and delivery.

1
Step 1

Brief & input files

Share layer specifications, dimensions per size, cover fabric samples or scans, quilting patterns and any technical drawings of coil systems. A project manager sets the job up on our CGI CRM.

2
Step 2

Geometry & clay approval

The mattress is modeled with its real profile — layer heights, edge support, quilting relief — and approved as grey clay renders before material work.

3
Step 3

Covers, foams & light

Ticking, quilting and foam are built from your samples, including the way a cover compresses over quilting, then lit so the surface reads as textile rather than plastic.

4
Step 4

Scenes & cutaways

Styled bedroom scenes and technical cutaways are produced from the same asset, so marketing and specification imagery never contradict each other.

5
Step 5

QA & delivery

Every image is checked against your specs and delivered in the crops your PDPs, marketplaces and campaigns need. Approved models stay in your asset library.

We had a fantastic experience working with CGIFurniture. From the beginning, their team took the time to truly understand our needs and vision. They were thorough in their communication, asking the right technical questions to ensure everything was just right. The final results exceeded our expectations, the quality and realism of the images were outstanding. Not only did they deliver a stunning visual outcome, but they also helped us save significant time and money compared to a traditional in-person photo shoot.

We had a wonderful experience with CGIFurniture creating our tile product lifestyle scenes. They made two beautiful and accurate scenes for us in an efficient manner and met every deadline. Working with their team, especially Artem and Kate, made our collaborative experience a pleasure. We highly recommend their services and have passed their information on to many of our colleagues.

FAQ

Answers to common questions

What do you need from us to start?

Layer specifications with heights and materials, dimensions for each size, cover fabric samples or high-resolution scans, and the quilting pattern. If coil systems are part of the story, drawings or photos of the unit help us model them accurately.

Can you show what is inside the mattress?

Yes — cutaways are one of the strongest reasons to use CGI here. Layers, zones and coil systems are modeled as real geometry, so a cross-section is accurate rather than an illustration, and it comes from the same asset as the product shots.

Will the cover fabric look like textile?

Ticking is built as woven material with the right sheen and the compression that quilting creates, which is what stops a rendered mattress from looking like moulded plastic. It is approved against your samples.

Can you render every size in the range?

Yes, and cheaply, because sizes are the same model at different dimensions. The scene stays approved and each size is rendered into it with the camera unchanged.

Can you show adjustable bases in motion?

Yes. Adjustable bases are modeled as working mechanisms, so we can render fixed positions or animate the movement for product pages and ads.

Do we own the models, and can they be reused for new covers?

The models are yours. When a cover fabric or a quilting pattern changes, we swap the material on the existing model, so a new range costs a fraction of the first one.

How long does a first project take?

It depends on how many models and sizes are in scope and how complete the construction data is. After the brief you get a schedule with clay approval, materials and delivery milestones.

How much does mattress rendering cost?

Pricing depends on the number of models, sizes and technical views. Our price list breaks down project types with average costs and example results — download it above, or book a demo for an estimate on your range.
