for CVL Luminaires
CVL Luminaires, led by Émilie Cathelineau, is a 100% French manufacturer of decorative lighting. The company has been cooperating for several years with independent designers such as Hervé Langlais, POOL and Kristian Gavoille. This year, the latter made a collaboration with Pauline Deltour and created a fresh collection for the brand. Each lighting product in it is entirely handmade and inspired by the passion for the designers’ favorite material – brass.
The CVL Luminaires brand got in touch with CGIFURNITURE in October of 2021. They asked us to do some amazing lifestyles with their products for a digital catalog. Since then, we’ve completed 4 product rendering projects — each for different types of lighting items.
Detailed 3D Modeling
of Lighting Products
The CVL Luminaires team ordered 3D models for all types of their products. Wall lights, pendant lights, table lamps, suspension lights — our 3D artists recreated all the intricate details of these items in 3D. First, the objects were made in greyscale and submitted for the approval of the CVL Luminaires managers. After getting the green light from them, our CG artists moved on to texturing and polishing 3D models.
Lifestyle 3D Rendering
in Elegant Interior Styles
The brand representatives wanted lighting products to be shown in a stylish environment that would complement their design. Since most of our 3D artists are well versed in the interior design field, they created unique photoreal 3D interiors of bedrooms, living rooms, and kitchens, incorporating the products in there. The final 3D renders looked just like trendy pictures from the leading design magazines.
Photo Integration Into 3D Scenes
An important part of this 3D rendering project was integrating product photos into computer-generated lifestyles. So we built a variety of digital scenes and carefully placed the product photos into them.

for a Digital Catalog
CVL Luminaires used the final product images for their digital catalog on the brand’s website. Such promo visuals are highly effective in e-commerce due to their versatility: they can be posted on social media, added to newsletters, or shown in demo presentations.
