American Music Furniture, headquartered in Pennsylvania, is a design and manufacturing company specializing in handcrafted humidity-controlled instrument displays and unique storage solutions. The team of the brand comprises a small collective of skilled woodworkers, artists, and musicians who collaborate to create high-quality bespoke furniture.
This is the first project CGIFurniture did for American Music Furniture. It consisted of three major tasks: modeling instrument displays, rendering them in silo and lifestyle images, and creating 360-view spinners of the product models. Let’s take a closer look at the results of every task of this music furniture 3D modeling and rendering project!
Music Furniture Modeling and Silo Rendering
The American Music Furniture team sent us several catalogs of their product collections as references. They asked to model cabinets and other storage solutions and render them in frontal and 45-degree views with and without musical items. The items in question were guitars, amplifiers, amplifier heads, pedals, and cables. Each silo had to feature a neutral background — beige or light gray — to stand out on the white web pages of the brand’s site.
Minimalist Lifestyle 3D Rendering
The lifestyle renders the brand asked for had to be simple, with white walls, minimum decor, and natural lighting. Our artists considered mood references from the client and went for wall lifestyle renders with few minimalist secondary items in the frame. The result demonstrated all American Music Furniture’s products in the same setting — off-white walls, wooden floors, neutral carpet, and a picture. Nothing to distract potential buyers from the main item!
CG Visuals for Different Marketing Platforms
The resulting 3D visuals were displayed on American Music Furniture’s website and its social media. The images have the same aesthetics and color palette which presents the items as one collection — a perfect promo for a new product line!
